Small to Large Business

Our SMB business offering is a turnkey approach for small business that need to consolidate windows and unix servers into a small highly reliable clustered processing architecture to simplify management and reduce operating costs.  Our reliable clustered core includes virtual windows partitions, and linux services (LAMP) for the small business.  Storage is inexpensive, scalable, and monitored.  Backup is provided to local disk and optionally remotely replicated to large secure data center facility for the use in recovery operations.  The hardware and software is provided in a rack mounted system, data transfer and migration is provided, and all monitoring and management is provided in a monthly service fee.  End users are provided with a web based ticket system, performance information, and status screen of all their critical software processes.  Individual server to entire office recovery is an architectural design for this offering.

Storage Framework
Our storage philosophy is to provide high performance low cost storage infrastructures from smaller array building blocks.  Storage tiers are created from these building blocks that allow companies to place data objects on the type of storage hardware that matches the performance and price metric required by the business, keeping overall storage costs lower.  Emerging trends in high speed connectivity, such as Infiniband, 10 gigabit ethernet and SAN, are incorporated into our designs to help lower costs and simplify design.  Our storage frameworks include local and wide area data replication, write once storage methods and provisions for higher governance and compliance demands.

Cluster Framework
It is our belief that clustered low cost high performance processors will shoulder a large part of application processing in the near future.  From web services, database grids, and storage and application server farms will benefit from a cluster that can yield very high uptime while maintenance windows all but vanish.  Our unix based cluster architecture can utilize high speed, critically important, interconnect technology such as Infiniband to keep pace with the rapid jumps in processor and I/O technology.  Cluster management software from Veritas and SUN are the backbone for application support, cluster file system support, and necessary agility that companies require.

Management Framework
Core systems management functions are provided as a package built into our other frameworks, or as a managed service.  A management framework starts with systems initialization and provisioning, SAN and I/O management, real time-data protection, and ongoing system updates, patches, and server comparisons.  Our Management Framework provides a build and update process that can be replicated thru software tools, alerts and event systems based on application service performance, and not operating system metrics.  Our philosophy we build into our solutions is that for "service oriented environments" SOA the management framework should monitor and manage services, not individual components.
